Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway

The OPD Pathway is a jointly funded partnership between His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and NHS England. It is a long-term change programme that commissions treatment and support services nationally for people with ‘personality disorder’, whose complex mental health problems are linked to their harmful offending.

LPP is the largest single health provider of OPD Pathway Services nationally.

Latest Performance Highlights

Mental health services across London manage community caseloads including 5,000-6,000 CORE-OM OPD cases, 200 IIRMS OPD cases, 100-150 Involvement and Inclusion cases, and 250 young adults in Newham, alongside prison OPD services with a total capacity of 230 spaces distributed among several prisons including HMP Aylesbury, Brixton, High Down, Standford Hill, and Swaleside.
