Who We Are

The London Pathways Partnership (LPP) is a partnership of 5 NHS Trusts, established in 2012. We collaborate across agencies to optimise outcomes for complex service participants in the criminal justice system. We have a reputation for being flexible, innovative and adaptable to improve impact. With pan-London coverage, we can offer a consistent and uniform regional service via a skilled and competent workforce, who specialise in risk and complexity. We have helped to establish the evidence base for working with high harm service participants with complex psychological needs and strive for continual improvement by learning from evaluations of our services.

What We Do

LPP delivers a range of services in both prisons and the community in partnership with HMPPS and third sector agencies. The majority of these services form part of the joint NHS England (NHSE) and His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) Offender Personality Disorder Pathway (OPDP).

The OPDP is 'a set of psychologically informed services operating across criminal justice and health' and is a 'long term change programme for people with 'personality disorder' whose complex mental health problems are linked to harmful offending' (OPD Pathway 5 Year Strategy, 2022-2027). It aims to improve public protection and reduce reoffending whilst increasing the psychological health of service participants.

LPP Steering Group

LPP is overseen by the LPP Steering Group. Our Steering Group is led by the LPP co-chairs and is made up of a senior clinical and operational manager from each LPP partner trust. The Steering Group takes ultimate responsibility for overseeing LPPs day to day delivery, developing strategy and overseeing LPPs governance and performance.
