HMP Swaleside PIPE Officer wins Butler Trust Award
We are delighted to announce that Officer Jon Firth, from the HMP Swaleside PIPE service was this year’s winner of the Butler Trust Awards. Jon’s award is for his exceptional work as an Officer, for over 30 years, at HMP Swaleside, and for his unparalleled skill and compassion in working with some of the most challenging individuals in the estate – he is, according to his Governor, “the perfect role model for both prisoners and staff”. Testimonials from PIPE residents were submitted in support of Jon's award and spoke to the impact of his work on the PIPE.
